INPUTS
How much you invested, the date you bought and the date you sold (if you havent sold yet you can use todays date) and the stock you bought. Stock code is in Yahoo Finance format.
CALCULATE
When you click "calculate my return" the app goes off and gets the relevant share price and dividend history and calculates two results - internal rate of return and money in my pocket.
RESULTS
Internal rate of return is equivalent to the per annum interest rate you received.
Money in pocket is how much money you walk away with after dividends and price at the time of sale.
